Running out of yarn doesn’t mean stopping your project.

Use one of these beginner-friendly methods to connect a new skein.

Method 1 — Overlap and Weave

Overlap the old and new yarn ends across several stitches. Continue knitting while holding both strands together, then weave the remaining ends securely into the blanket.

Method 2 — Secure Knot

Tie the two yarn ends together with a small, firm knot. Trim only the excess ends, leaving enough yarn to prevent the knot from loosening. Hide the join inside nearby stitches.

Important Safety Note
