How to Join a New Skein of Yarn
Running out of yarn doesn’t mean stopping your project. Use one of these beginner-friendly methods to connect a new skein of HOMBYS Chunky Chenille Yarn.
Method 1 — Overlap and Weave
Overlap the old and new yarn ends across several stitches. Continue knitting while holding both strands together, then weave the remaining ends securely into the blanket.
Method 2 — Secure Knot
Tie the two yarn ends together with a small, firm knot. Trim only the excess ends, leaving enough yarn to help prevent the knot from loosening. Conceal the finished join inside nearby stitches.
