Dropped a Stitch? Here’s How to Fix It
Dropped stitches happen—even to experienced makers. Fortunately, they are easy to repair when working with soft HOMBYS Chunky Chenille Yarn.
Step 1 — Find the Dropped Loop
Locate the open gap and identify the loose loop directly below it. Lay your project flat so you can clearly see the surrounding stitches.
Step 2 — Restore the Stitch
Carefully pull the working strand through the dropped loop. Gently adjust the surrounding stitches until the repaired loop matches their size.
Step 3 — Secure and Continue
Return the repaired loop to the correct row, check that it is secure, and continue hand knitting as usual.
